With the request from preschool institution schoolmasters of elementary school “Selami Hallaqi” from Gjilan municipality, Kosovo Railways enabled the visit to KR with train for 70 preschool pupils accompanied by their mothers and two schoolmasters. Preschool pupils under attendance of their mothers and two schoolmasters were awaited with train at Ferizaj railway station.

After arriving at Ferizaj railway station at around 11AM, the preschool pupils, mothers and two schoolmasters were welcomed by Marketing Agents Enisa Hoti and Fitim Jusufi. Immediately after they were all settled in seats and the train departed, preschool pupils with smiling faces, satisfied with commodity offered by train took their sights towards the windows, there was no child sitting and mothers immediately started taking pictures.

Agent Enisa Hoti initially wanted to get a reflection of emotions from two schoolmasters Mrs. Zijavere Beqiri and Mrs. Mirvete Hoxha, about how did the preschool pupils received the news of free stroll with train;  

“It has been a joy with blissful clamor. With impatience they were waiting for departure moments. It has truly been an especial pleasure for the children, out of which for the majority of them was the first time of stroll with train, also we as schoolmasters were very pleased looking at blissful children. We thank Kosovo Railways that enabled us this free travelling and free of charge as well.

The main protagonist of this stroll which created as well a more interesting atmosphere was the charming child Rineta Emini, who celebrated her sixth birthday, the kids were singing, playing and wishing happy birthday to Rineta. On behalf of Kosovo Railways staff present we also felicitated the sixth birthday to the charming child by accompanying the felicitation with one song that was broadcasted through the microphone.

Hearing of the Kosovo Railways museum, the schoolmasters expressed their wish to visit the museum within the area of Fushe Kosove station premise. Emotions were increasing, where the preschool pupils had the occasion to receive closely the elementary knowledge over railway traffic.

Little bit prior to the end of this stroll children felt free to describe their first impressions during this free travelling with train, therefore we interviewed two of the preschool pupils;

Suitë Rasimi, five years old – I had a great time. I liked the stroll with train since it’s my first stroll with train in Kosova. The train looks so beautiful, long, it has a very interesting movements. I will never forget this free stroll and I would like to use the occasion to thank Kosovo Railways with heartiness for the opportunity of this free stroll.

Behar Musliu, seven years old – It’s my first time to stroll with train. It was an indescribable pleasure, very interesting nature landscapes can be seen when the train is moving. I am mostly impressed by the movement through the track which enables us to be the only ones in traffic hahahaha…I thank Kosovo Railways for the train stroll opportunity.

Children in general expressed their great wish to have movement of such trains also in their municipality, in Gjilan.

As sign of acknowledgment preschool pupils of elementary school “Selami Hallaqi” gave to Kosovo Railways staff present a modest gift, by wishing that in short time to have another such opportunity.
