Freight railway terminal

TERMINAL

Constructed in a way to receive all types of conventional freight deliveries and containers by storing containers 20’ and 40’ FT (feet) and their preparation for delivering them to the warehouse of the freight client. The elevating weight of the crane is 40 tons, the elevating height 9m, respectively 5 levels. The terminal area is 5250 m² with a possibility of extension up to 9000m². The operational field length is 200m.

4 accesses are provided for storing frigo-containers. Loading and unloading in/of the containers is done in an open/closed area depending on the manipulation required by freight.

Other services such as small repairing and hygienic services of containers (washing and cleaning) can also be carried on in the container terminal.

By having in consideration the world trend of increasing quantity in container freight, in accordance with it we have worked on modernizing this terminal and other services.
